Destination Learning Sponsors Academy of Marketing's Annual Conference in Liverpool

The conference is being hosted by The University of Liverpool's Managemnet School. The University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS) was established in 2002 as a major strategic investment (£12 million in facilities and staff) by the University and to amalgamate existing departments and form a centre of excellence to grow and develop in terms of teaching, research and engagement.

Its mission is to generate and disseminate original research and knowledge applicable to the significant challenges of economic, societal, organizational and management development facing business leaders, policy makers, public servants and practitioners in the 21st century.

The theme of the conference is Marketing Fields Forever reflecting the city's Beatles and  musical heritage. The goal of  the conference is to showcase and celebrate the exciting work being done by marketing researchers in the field of marketing. 

First time visitors to the city will get a great feel for Liverpool as the conference takes in many of the city's iconic sites and venues including, Aintree Racecourse, The Mersey Ferry which affords breath taking views of Liverpool's world famous waterfront and St. George's Hall.
